ROMANS 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
The Good Word Of The Day

That weapon that can't be stopped.
Can't be tamed.
That weapon is your tongue.
Did you know, that the tongue is the strongest muscle in the entire body.
Size for size it's the strongest muscle.
You want to know why?
Your tongue is the strongest muscle in the body because it does the most exercise.
It gets the most work.
So use it to protect yourself against invaders, both foreign and domestic.
And use it to server others.
What can you say to lift someone else self work.
You can identify when someone doesn't feel so good about themselves.
Help them out, like...
"The storm is always passing"
Or find something you can say, to help someone to feel better about themselves and you intentionally find something to say that's good about yourself.
There is a reason you are here and you have tremendous power to change the world, not only but your world.

The Purpose of This Site
We created The Jesus Site first of all as an outreach to those who do not have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and secondly as a resource to those who do. The name was chosen by inspiration of Rich Mullin's album called, "The Jesus Record." It is our goal to provide the Christian with one location on the web where they can find information on all kinds of topics that center around the Christian world and the Bible.
The Jesus Site grows by user contribution in two ways. First of all The Jesus Site grows by people simply using this resource and then spreading the word to other Christians around the world. Secondly, the Jesus Site grows by users who contribute information. Whether it be your favorite Christian web site link, a sermon, a quote, or even a clean joke, we invite your contributions of information so that we can continually make The Jesus Site the very best Christian Resource Tool on the Internet.
What We Believe
We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; Creator of Heaven and earth. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, of Whom there was not beginning and will be no end; He is eternal in the heavens.
We believe in the Son, Jesus Christ, the Living Word of the Father, Who took on the likeness of man, was born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died, and was buried; that he rose on the third day, ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, where He makes intercession for us. We believe that He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy spirit, the Comforter, the Counselor, Who was given by the Father and the Son to guide us into all truth. He is the Deposit guaranteeing our inheritance to God's kingdom until the day of redemption. He brings gifts from our father for the edification of the church. The fruits of His abiding presence in the life of a believer are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.
We believe that the Bible is the infallible , inerrant , written Word of God, and that it contains the only and complete plan of salvation; that all Scriptures is God-breathed, and is profitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.
We believe that all men are conceived and born in sin, out of fellowship and harmony with God, in need of a righteous Savior, and atoning sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.
We believe that God demonstrates His love for all in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, the Righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God; That salvation is only by grace (unmerited favor of God) through faith, not of works; that it is with your heart you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
We believe that it is the calling of every believer to commit his life to carrying out the Great commission of spreading the Good News of God's love and plan of salvation to all people.

Man is looking all about for the answer to the emptiness he feels. He knows that he is somehow out of tune with his world, his neighbors, and himself
Man is looking all about for the answer to the emptiness he feels. He knows that he is somehow out of tune with his world, his neighbors, and even himself.
he Bible gives us some clear-cut reasons for this and the solution to the problem.
Not All Roads Lead To Heaven
The Bible says there is only one way to Heaven. Jesus said: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." [John 14:6]
Good Works Cannot Save You
"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast." [Ephesians 2:8-9]
You Must Be Born Again
"Jesus answered and said to him, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.' Nicodemus said to Him, 'How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?' Jesus answered, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.'" [John 3:3-5]
Trust Jesus Christ today! Here's what you must do:
1. Admit you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." [Romans 3:23]
"Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned." [Romans 5:12]
"If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." [1 John 1:10]
2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent).
Jesus said: "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." [Luke 13:5]
"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent." [Acts 17:30]
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." [John 3:16]
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." [Romans 5:8]
"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" [Romans 10:9]
Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Savior.
"For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." [Romans 10:10]
"For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." [Romans 10:13]
What To Pray
Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." [John 1:12]
"Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." [2 Corinthians 5:17]
Living As A Christian
If you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior, as a Christian you should:
1. Read your Bible every day to get to know Christ better.
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth." [2 Timothy 2:15]
"Thy word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path." [Psalms 119:105]
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
"And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive." [Matthew 21:22]
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." [Philippians 4:6]
3. Be baptized, worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached and the Bible is the final authority.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit:" [Matthew 28:19]
"Not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near." [Hebrews 10:25]
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness." [2 Timothy 3:16]
4. Tell others about Christ.
"And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." [Mark 16:15]
"For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel." [1 Corinthians 9:16]
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." [Romans 1:16]
You have begun the greatest adventure in life, and may God bless you as you take your first steps in serving him.

Let Me Help You With That
Walking down the street, a man passes a house and notices a child trying to reach the doorbell. No matter how much the little guy stretches, he can't make it. The man calls out, "Let me get that for you," and he bounds onto the porch to ring the bell. "Thanks, mister," says the kid. "Now let's run."
